Non-petroleum, non-rubber waterproofing for wood? starting with a rattan-like material (not true rattan, but.. - building floor fishing boat

is similar) Which of the following would be the best poetry?

(This is a writing project, not for school, and I can do the actual test.)

Selection: charcoal, wood alcohol, acetic acid, creosote, resin, turpentine, vegetable oil, lard made, floor wax, shark skin. any combination of the above

Applied, how? Only wet? Painted cook? In what order?

The aim is to provide a material that originally grew in water, waterproof to a continuous immersion in water without too soft and useless again stand up to reach. It should be used to build ships, cages for fish farming, construction, water, etc. No equipment so that we can with what we have to learn.

Thank you for all serious answers. If it is not clear enough, ask for further information and I will give them. I will best answer without checking to reward their data further, either.

Fair enough?
