I'd like to start a produce garden in my (new) sunny San Antonio, TX yard. What will grow, and when? - antonio

I moved to San Antonio to Minneapolis. I live with a limited budget, so I wanted to know if I could grow food in my garden to feed myself. I'm completely new to the climate and plant life all seems strange, then I think it would be wise garden the same way as I did in Minneapolis. My garden is mostly sunny, but there are too few gray areas. All the advice to me about growing crops or care for outdoor plants in San Antonio to give (or similar climate zone) would be fantastic.
